Wellbeing
Here at Goosnargh Oliverson's we aspire to support our children to become confident, happy learners and members of society. In order to achieve that, our children need to know how look after themselves and those they care for. They need to look after their physical, emotional and mental health, and we see it as our job to provide them with the tools needed to achieve this.
Here at Goosnargh Oliverson's we do this in lots of different ways, including the teaching of a robust PSHE curriculum, inviting visitors in to run wellbeing activities, focus-assemblies, the My Happy Mind programme and sporting activities, amongst many other things.
As well as supporting our children, we like to know that our families feel supported too. Communication is vital in looking after one another and we aim to build and sustain positive relationships with our families- our door is always open! Each week, the newsletter contains useful information regarding wellbeing, such as organisations that offer support, links to useful resources, and contact numbers.
